Matiaburj College was founded in the year 2008 to extend the scope of higher education in Matiaburj. The aim of the institution is to serve the area it is situated in, by aiding the students in optimizing their full potential and equipping them to become responsible citizens. Since the college admits female students in large numbers from the locality, who are first generation learners coming from a conservative background, it imparts education with special care to the social, cultural, educational and emotional need of the student.
